Did you know that Chicago has a professional women's tackle football team? Yeah, the team, the Chicago Force, consists of sixty seven women who are giving their hearts and bodies to play tackle football on the pro level. Auditions were held a few months ago, practices are ongoing, and the first game is March 29th.
The Chicago Force is the newest member of the Indpendent Football League (IWFL). Believe it or not, there are 27 teams in this league from around the country. The Chicago Force is trying to get the word out there, and diva hopes that you'll come to the games and help support the team.
Games are at De LaSalle Institute, 3455 S. Wabash Ave. (State St. and 35th) in Chicago. The FIRST GAME is March 29th, at 1pm. There's also an exhibition game on March 23rd.
